Recurring Monthly Gifts: Our Bread & Butter

These funds enable us to:

  • Support staff such as campus ministers and priest chaplains

  • Lower student costs for life-changing events such as retreats, mission trips, and Catholic conferences

  • Pay for other day-to-day operations costs of the Newman Center.

Specific Urgent Needs

In addition to the day-to-day operations of our Newman Centers, we also have two urgent needs:

1.) Team of FOCUS Missionaries (UCM)

Why?: FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) is one of the most fruitful organizations in the Catholic Church in the United States today. They have grown from a handful of people in 1999 to now having 700 full-time missionaries on 150+ college campuses in the United States and beyond. FOCUS trains recent college graduates to be sent out in teams of four or more onto college campuses to do outreach through bible studies and 1v1 discipleship. At UCM, with over 2,000 baptized Catholic students on campus, we are in great need of bringing a team of FOCUS missionaries to reach these students with the Gospel. Will you help us? 2.) Chapel (NWMSU)

Why?: The student involvement at Northwest Missouri State’s Newman Center has grown exponentially over the past six years under the leadership of the campus minister there, Max Pawlowski. Now, with Mass five days per week, the little basement chapel is filled to overflowing, forcing many students to drive across town to the local parish because there isn’t any room in the Newman Center.
